Yes there are two sides to every story, buts its hard to imagine that it would be quite as extreme as you've made out mart360.
You're keen to point out the other party's perspective but seem to have failed to stop and think that perhaps soulgirl is actually (wait for it) telling the truth.

whilst indicating and pulling accross a dual carrageway, a scooby came screaming up toward me , horn blaring and nearly caused me to have an accident,
I was then followed into the b&q car park, where said driver of the scooby a woman came barreling up to me hurling abuse and making threats towards me regarding my driving and what she was going to do to me.
A gentleman came over to see what the concern was, and he can corroborate the vile accusations and threats this woman made.
to make things worse, as she stormed off she violently banged my door, which now has a large dent in it and hit my wing mirror which is now broken.
I was so distraught, i got into my car and left,
the incedant has been reported to the police...
Now can you see where i am coming from????
if this post had been made first who,s version of events would you believe????
as i said assumptions have been made based on one side of the arguement..

couldnt agree more - it is this sort of **** thinking that gets every scumbag off in court - 'well, what if the alleged bank robber was simply mistaken in believing that the gun he was waving in everybody's face was in fact a banana..........'

I had the crime scene guy round this morning who took photos etc. I now have to wait for the police to pick up the tape from B&Q. I instigated a couple of quotes today and am waiting for another two that were recommended to me, to get back to me.
I will keep you updated
Thank you all for your support

Unbelievable

I work at the B&Q in question (embarassingly enough - 'tis a short term thing!
) - rest assured i'll keep my eye out in case the car concerned happens to be a regular (fat chance I know but you never can tell
).
Alternatively, if there's anything I can do to help from where I am (if you need names/details of who to contact for the tapes etc.) then feel free to let me know.

I have a name and number for the tape... first name is Seamus
I have a feeling the two people concerned were rendezvousing as he was there already and the way she made a quick turn into the car park was as though she just caught him out of the corner of her eye - she swerved to a stop behind his car and it was quite visible from the main road. Before she swerved it was apparant that she was going straight ahead or into the carparks by Staples. You could keep an eye out - I would be very grateful. It's the registration marks Im after. You have the car details in the initial post

LOL - nah... I can't afford a full respray. It's around 3k at least and I can't see the insurance wearing that. And I dont have a couple of grand myself as just spend 1k on a new set of wheels. The full respray will have to wait.

I have no idea.. it wasn't there before the attack - perhaps a strange thing occured whilst all the other banging about was happening?
Until the bloke arrived, I think she was just gonna sit in her car... she called me a choice name before inferring that she was gonna beat the crap out of me... hence my departure LOL. Had it just been her I would have stood my ground but he was foaming at the mouth too.

No really... it wasn't there before and could not have been caused by the inside - I swear on Lotties life. I wonder if it was the flash of the camera that has caused an optical illusion? I will check in the morning.

I just went out to check and yes, it is protruding... however, where the dent bit is, it's quite deep and possible it has dented the door onto a mechanism inside the panel?

Who ever wins the job, I will ask them about that bit. The lock/opening bit is roughly above that jutty out injury... wonder if there is something under the panel for it?
