Our Maud Complained about me "Tapping away!" too much on the PC in the spare room.

So I got a laptop and now I can ignore whilst sitting next to her as she's watching $hite on the telly ,Telling me "All I've had to eat today is........blah,blah,blah ...do you think I've got enough "points" left to be able to eat this fffing big chocky bar and these chrisps

girlfriend doesnt mind what I use the pc for :P

if she is really against it, try and involve her in some topics online, inbetween the washing and ironing.

Oh and for the fella who's wife is threating a ban on sex, if she goes through with it make sure you clear the house out of all batteries, she will give in soon enough. either that or tell her that if she doesnt change her mind you will have a crack at her sister.

my ex said quite a lot, that subaru is going to be the end of us, and what are you doing, hang on why am I asking, your on scoobynet. hence she's the ex. she said subaru or me.... bye bye...lol

I know it's different if your married, but it's not like she doesnt do anything for plesure that you could moan about...but dont.... probobly because your too busy with scoobynet to moan.

I think I explained it like this a while ago, "I'm a boy and boys need toys. Just be grateful I've got a car as a plaything and not another woman." The other good thing for my other half is that I'm at home and not in the pub.

The truth is though, we'll never be able to please them. It's part of their genetic makeup to moan about things.

I use to take the role of being a Husband and Father seriousley and devoted myself to my family and working to provide for it. My wife moaned that I had no hobbys or friends. I got a Scoob and then a few months later a computer. I started spending loads of time on here and going away and meeting people. I had a few different Scoobs and I eventually sold my last Scoob when it was 6 months old to pacify her. Anyway to cut a very very long story short, the upshot of it was that in her Divorce application she sited unreasonable behaviour on my part, stating that I had even been online for 4 hours on the evening of our wedding anniversary. I wouldn't mind her saying that if it had been true, but she was at fecking work that day and had cheated on me previously and was subsequently I found out doing an ex work colleague of hers behind my back as well as sleeping with me every day! The double standards and low morals she had are unbelievable now I think about it and I am well shot!

My advice to anyone having aggro from the other half is to ask what is lacking in their life for them to be envious of a piece of metal. Given the choice again I would of kept the car and shown her the door if she was that unhappy. Hindsight is a marvelous thing.

I took your advise blueone and asked her what was lacking in her life.By her awnser i think she is jealous because all she can afford is a diesel primera,which i use very often when she drives me home drunk or i need to do a bit of shopping and i dont want to get me doors dented in the multistory.this manages to wind her up even more about the scoob

I remember my girlfriend at the time got so p*issed off with me cleaning my Scooby all the time that she kicked it!
In fact my current Girlfriend is jealous of my Scooby as well!
