RAB's not going to win any fashion awards. The point is it'll save your @ss on top of a mountain. Not quite what everyone needs to sit around a toasty office though

My very first RAB sleeping bag weighed less than 400g yet it kept me warm when it was below freezing outside my tent.

If you want a jacket to wear everywhere then I'd probably give the RAB stuff a miss unless you frequent places full of climbing/mountaineering types

ozzy- noted- Im just sick of freezing my **** off every winter as yet another cheap and cheerful jacket bites the dust..

am looking for a 'long termer' ....

I also went into blacks and made sure which McMurdo I wanted and what size.
saying that, I'm not going to buy til xmas is done with.

not got cash to splash really, so will wear a vest under my tshirt, jumper and crap coat for now

Some of the Search & Rescue Dog teams use this gear.Hard wearing, comfy for hill or street wear, reproof in washing machine, lifetime guarantee & a repair service

www.paramo.co.uk

My waterproof Taiga fleece was well over two years old when a couple of poppers broke on the front & one of the pocket zips came unstitched so the puller fell off.I sent it back for repair & they sent me a brand new fleece FOC.They even checked to see if I wanted a different colour.

Quality bit of kit.
