Again, for comparison my MY93 shows 252.2 Pwheel and 44.8 Ploss. I noticed at last years Prosport rolling road day organised by 22B.com that the early WRX's seem to register a very low loss reading on Prosports rollers compared to the later cars (except for Bob Rawle's STi), anyone know why that is?

Narrower tyres (less drag), less weight (less drag) , lower geared (lower speed on rollers)

tried car tonight, i am running 19 psi
However i am getting bad debt over 5500 rpm especially when it is at full boost. Any ideas why or how to cure it?

I am running optimax and nitrox hot shots at the mo. dont know that is any good or not?

I would turn the boost down asap unless you want to rebiuld your engine till you see no activity on your knocklink........then to fix the problem you should fit a 3 bar map sensor and get a custom re-map on your ScoobyECU...then it should run safe.

The ECU is only mapped for 15.5psi, and your running 19psi, way beyond the limits of the fuel map!!!!

Got probsguys need advice....

Due to bad det i have taken the MBC off and back to running 15.5 psi as norm, however think it may be too late...
The car 'chugs' / 'backfires' only on boost.

Any ideas asap would be great for me to look into.

Are you sure you've replumbed everything correctly after removing the MBC?

Other than that it could be your coil packs playing up and the spark being blown out when on boost.

Maybe try putting the MBC back and seeing if it still does it? Try it on the lowest boost setting and start to wind it up until it starts missing again.

Bingo!!!!

It appears to be my 'code 45 - Pressure Sensor Duty Solenoid'

Which part is this? is the upside down black little unit with a pipe going to underneath it?!?!
Or
The brown unit above it with a black plastic cylinder on the end of it where the black pipe connects to!?

Where from how much!?

Cheers in advance.
