Blood pressure isnt just stress related, my job is fairly low stress (at least my approach is) but having kids, a wife and a house coupled with a healthy interest in curries and beer seem to always send mine to the high side of normal, have started doing more exercise to try and combat it, also if I cut myself I dont want to douse my colleagues.

The very mention of Blood Pressure stresses me out.

I think the suicides must be coincidental, no work place can induce that surely, just walk out, deck somebody or **** on the board room table, dont get mad, get even. A freind of ours worked for M and S on the shop floor and it was really doing her in, chnged jobs and she is a different happier person, no way will I set foot in an M and S store having seen how they treat the staff these days, tossers, all in the name of pound notes. Also anyon I have heard of working for Cauldwell comminications has left, wants to leave and hates it.

My mum went off for months with stress and depression, for a 14 grand a year job, 14 grand is not worth that, I know financially most dont have that luxury but being alive without any money is surely a better bet than topping yourself

Just one comment - there are similar levels within other firms, just because you've worked your **** off to get there (within that one specific firm, I take it?), doesn't mean that by moving somewhere else you're throwing it all away. You've got the experience, which is what people look for.
