noooooooooooooooo!!!!!

I understand the point...you dont understand the maths!

The risk is tiny, do you live your life avoiding every minute risk?????

What on earth would you be like if you actually owned the bloody car!

While your drive is an odd set-up i would expect your neighbour to laugh his head off when you say dont park it there because i may get burgled!!!

the risk isn't that tiny though is it?

I 've seen loads on car jacking / car theft threads on here. my other neighbour was done 2 weeks back, another lad last year was burgled and the keys for his S3 taken.

I know what you are saying, but if there is a risk that can be avoided, then common sense tells me to avoid it, to me it is just tempting fate to leave it there.

besides, I feckin hate TT's

The world is not SN.

If it was every other person would:

Have a scoob, hate Tony Blair, despise Ant and Dec, do steroids/be on a diet, sleep with a baseball bat, wear flash watches and love posting pics of their baby/car/stereo on the net.

"my other neighbour was done 2 weeks back, another lad last year was burgled and the keys for his S3 taken."

means nothing.

For one thing an S3 is a better car than a TT in every sense for a crook.......how many bad guys want a 2 seater????

and.....being close to an unlikley event doesnt increase the rate at which these things happen.

ps...maybe your neighbour has seen the crap you drive and thought he was doing you a favour!

Seems a bit of a strange layout mj, having a wall on his side and parking in front of your shared access on your side of the wall. If he is entitled to park there it is a difficult problem and I suppose it can only be sorted by mutual agreement. It must reduce free access to your house anyway.

Maybe you are going to buy him a beer or two and then discuss it

I'll look at the other thread-thanks.

Les, it is a bit of a strange layout, and according to the deeds that area is supposed to be left clear - which to me says no parking, but the van that used to be there is not a problem because we all try and get along etc, etc. The TT however I see as a potential problem which could directly affect me, some seem to think I am worrying over nothing, but I am not so sure with what has happened round here lateley .

btw, still not replied to the other thread - , though to be honest the other posters say pretty much the same as I would have. I would just say that if you have not experienced what certain substances feel like then its unfair to pass comment and slate people as some others seemed to be doing in the thread. I personally do not rate coke, it certainly hits the spot, but the cons far outweigh the pros IMO, I only tried it once, and there was nothing about it that really interested me, TBH, I have never been one for the Bling Bling lifestyle that many people seem to lead these days. I prefer to stay organic - much more genuine sensation if you see what I mean, chemicals - eeuurrgghh

Go down the pub at closing time and ask 20 dodgy-looking characters if they'd like an Audi TT. Troop them back to your place, get them to stand outside, and ask them which house they'd look in for the keys. Make sure your neighbour is present.

Trouble is, as soon as he finds out they won't break into his house, he'll probably refuse to move it!!
