Jason,
Watch the feature again and see how close the Evo was. Not very is the answer, apart from the corner shots. And as John says, I certainly don't have "Scooby blinkers"!
The Evo is a nice car. I'd take an FQ320 over a WR1 anyday of the week. However, you cannot compare it to a Lambo. Nice idea, but realistically not ever going to ever happen.

What was its lap time? ...compared to the Murcielago's 1.23.7??
Edited to say:
Ahhhh ...found it 1.24.8, but on a greasy track, now if only i could remember the conditions for the Murcielago's lap

Or that the whole clip is a farce and its just camera trickery?
surely the idea of tracks and racing is that some points are quicker than others for different types of cars, sure the lambo probably pulled out a bit on straights and if they were longer well im sure it would have pulled out a little more, however it wasnt, so the evo vs lambo on somewhere technical like cadwell would be very close in favour of the evo, yet somewhere with longer straights would favour the lambo. On the test though, it kept up, which is all people are saying
