seems like I'm not the only one hehe...b/f constantly complains when I say I haven't seen a movie...usually it's like "I can't believe you haven't seen that yet!!" lol
and yes I must admit it is really bad of me for not seeing them...I just don't get round to it!
as for the list...it's never ending probably lol

I think my main reason is that I watch films to be entertained and transported to a different place.

I'd rather not watch some N*zi idiot shooting people for the fun of it. Or someone being hung, drawn and quartered. Not exactly uplifting stuff in the main.
Now if they actually had Hung drawn and quartered Mel gibson I would pay any amount of money to see it

Cinema isnt just about mindless dross.
I dont mind being entertained and transported to a different place if its a Good film what i dont like is being fed pathetic half arsed remakes and trite crappy scripts which barely rise above primarly school cliche level

Geezer said: Well I think you'd find they've changed a bit since 1972 then. The mulitplexes around here are generally clean, and I must admit I don't find them noisy (never did though). As for anti-social, well, sitting at home on your own is too, so I don't really see what you mean there.
Nah, we've even got a multiplex here in the back of beyond, according to my lads the floors are often sticky, there's food spilled on the seats etc.

Noisy? If there's on thing I HATE when watching a film, it's some smart mouthed biatch telling her mate the story behind me as I try to watch

Anti-social? I think you mean I'm unsociable, to which I'd agree
What I meant was the anti-social little ******* chucking stuff, shouting out, acting up, being drunk etc etc. Just the great unwashed British public

Tomb Raider...until later this week I suppose.

Lord of the Rings 2 and 3 - started to watch the second one but gave up on it after 3/4 of an hour as I thought it was ****.

Mmmm, can't disagree with you on those points bud. However, wait until the film has been out for a month, then go. The place will be empty and you can sit far enough away from any chavs/loud mouthed people/kids as you like!

We always go on a wednesday lunchtime (I love my unorthodox working hours ). Kids in school, the great unwashed still hungover/withdrawing. Double bonus, usually have place to ourselves and it's 2 for 1 Orange promo day Add an "All You Can Eat" buffet at Frankie & Bennies and it's a top afternoon of food and entertainment for under £30 total

Only once recently have we ventured to the flicks on an evening I know I'm one of them, but boy do I hate the British

Yep, suppose so, but the moment one of 'em started, I'd have to smack him, and then it'd be me in the sh*t

I feel much the same way about people dressed up as Mickey Mouse etc at Disneyland. Mickey was a MOUSE, FFS, not people size.

The minute I spotted someone in a Mickey/Daisy/Donald etc etc suit, I should have to either kill him, or superglue his zip shut
