Got mine an hour ago, just been for a drive with it and it's superb, though the voice alerts are a little hard to make out.
Can't wait to get my scoob back as it doesn't like being mounted on blutac in the Corsa.

Forgot to say thanks in my last post, sorry.
Thanks
Also, I love the mode with the huge fullscreen speed readout, I've always wanted something like that ever since my stepdad's Astra GTE
Thanks

PRoblem with one unit
Black connector is if you have the optional Modem...
Jason:
How much for an extra power lead for the car?
Also Ash's unit has a small problem, all worked ok but he brought it intoday and on the screen what looks like condensation... Though the unit was in the house over night...Little spec that is moving around...
Does he need to take this up with Origin or can you help?
Not sure if this would count as dead on arrival?
Otherwise, mines is working great

Cool...well just checked his unit and it has gone so looks ok now, so i think it was condensation..
I've said to him to take it home and see if it happens again..
Spoke to Origin:
"Send the unit to us, and we will try to repair it..1-5 days..."
Cheers

A top tip for all you non-smokers, I just found that with a little bit of adjustment the solo unit fits exactly in the ash-tray of my MY03 STi. For storage when not in use obviously. Out of sight and out of mind.

Quick question - mine takes an age to lock onto satellites when I start off (approx 5 mins). It shows upto 6 bars on the graph, but stil takes an age to become active - what am I doing wrong? Or is this normal.

Can't help much, but mine is really quick, much better than the old Geodessey.
What happens if you move the GPS antenna to the parcel shelf?
I also find they work best if fairly close to the bottom edge of the window, rather than in the middle of the dash, not right against it, but an inch or two away. Gives it a better view of the sky.

Thanks for replies.
I'll try it in some other positions (Oh Er Misses) over the next week and see if I get a better response.
