yup, blinder of a day
sat outside for an hour and chilled with a paper and a bottle of "volvic touch of fruit"
left work early
bought some kronenbourg 1664 and now i feel wasted
me and shek went for a ride
last night, and i learned a new trick
ride the minimoto around in a big circle with the knee down, getting slower and slower with the circle getting smaller and smaller, until i stop still with the knee down, then pull away again, making bigger and bigger circles
i was going to try and coach him how to get the knee down, but it was a lost cause
so i jumped on his bike to show him how its done, as i was flying about and i could smell burning rubber, i wrongly assumed that it was due to me being far to "mint" on his bike, i was convinced i was blowing the cobwebs off the sides of his tyres
until i stopped and saw his bloody chain had burnt away my work boots

Was a bit of a busy weekend. My side skirts are painted and lackered so they should be on the car this week, my front lip spoiler's going to get another coat of paint then lackered then back on the car.
That was a right bitch to paint. It had attracted some stone chips, so sprayed some filler primer on which reacted with whatever paint it was originally covered in
Pics:
It's about time I got around to having them painted. I did some of the rubbing down yesterday, but mostly got pissed

You work far too hard Micky.
Had a couple of beers last night and decided to throw my new side skirts on the car.
Don't think they look too bad. Need a little bit of "fettling" shall we say to make them fit perfect, but I'm happy with the way they look.

Mine do that too, thought they would be squarer? Need a bit of trimming here and there for a flush fit, but since they are self fitted and painted by my mate a couple of doors away I'm happy with the fit. Plus he didn't charge me for painting them just had to buy the paint.
Was a right **** getting the splash guards off the front of the standard skirts.
*Memo to self, need some colour coded door handles.*
