Hello from inside the Arctic Circle
The Midnight Sun.........well.....it was actually taken at about 01:30, but you get the idea!!
![](http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y99/martyrobertsdj/19aa9efe.jpg)
That's about as low as the sun ever gets up here! Feels weird getting up to start shift at midnight and it's still sunny!! Temp the other day was about 70 degrees and when we finished shift (mid-day), we went up the town and sat on a roof top bar and enjoyed the view. Oh yeah........it's a big university town....lots of students...............very nice views!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi, have been recommended by miles25 who had his decals from you. I am looking to have my wrx01 DBM done with the full decals. Was wondering if you could give me an idea of the best colour to have and a price for this. Some photos/links to , of some DBM with decals would be good if you have them.
Thanks Brian

Re: Stickers for DBM

DBM is a tricky colour, you should really go for pink if you want the car to stand out from the rest, i would advise against the full blown "rally rep" look as every body does this
instead i would suggest small glittery style stars all over the car in various sizes with sum double colour sponsor logos applied in decent locations
double colours i suggest would be dark pink and a purple/mauve mix
i do not have any photos at this presant time as it is a top secret design i have been working on afterwork and behind closed doors and i have been waiting for a DBM owner to contact me before offering this package
the cost of this set would be approx £200 depending on how twinkly and glittery you would like the "stars"
regards

Computer at work is up the spout, can only boot up in safe mode, not worth getting it fixed, as only come on here, and play games on it now, so its evenings and days off for me.
Picked up the missus Forester yesterday, had sunglasses on so they didnt recognise me at the tunnel LOL.

gushing it down here now
got the wendy house up just in time before the skoda outside got compleatly soaking (had allready put all the wax on
)
seams my engine did not blow up as bad as expected![EEK!](images/smilies/eek.gif)
quick assesment from alyn says
conrod on no3
shells
crank
gaskets
oil pump etc etc
pistons seam fine and it does not look like it was detting
the scoobymonitor never showed any knock retard on boost while i was checking it, but i always thought "maybe"
i have ran the car at 1.4bar+ on a standerd jdm ecu with no octane booster most of the time and it seams like its been fine![Confused](images/smilies/confused.gif)
currently wieghing up my options![Norty](images/smilies/norty.gif)
2.5 would be nice, but im not sure if i really need it?
FMIC will be on the car within the next few months as a definate tho as i have a feeling that the standerd setup helped break the thing in the first place
along with sitting on the rev limiter in 5th gear for about 5 mins

phils yellow evo 8 was outside my wash today while he was doing his shopping at asda, i had the citreon zx in while mine is away for a rebuild
regular punter comes in for a carwash, runs a smoothed mk4 golf with wheels and subtle but tastefull mods, fair to say a "car bloke"
says to me
"you know what mate, i preferd your car when it was painted red and white"
lmfao, bloke thought i had painted it yellow, fitted white wheels and a carbon bonnet, all in one week
