I have a GMT2 Master Rolex, Had it some time now while I wait for the next one to be delivered, been waiting 5 months now

Got my hair cut the other day by a bloke wearing a Rollie too, asked him about it and he said he got it from Thailand when he was over. It's a pretty good copy the only thing letting it down being no holagram on the back and the wrong 'seconds' hand movement.

But IMHO I would never get a fake as I'd feel a little cheap and sad when someone with a real Rolex is standing next to you laughing

well i bought an omega seamaster chronometer while on hols this year and i must say that i think it was worth every penny, ive had replicas and decent £100+ watches in the past but none seem to match the quality and feel that this has. btw there a lot cheaper abroad than here, i payed £700 in duty free in australia for one compared to the main dealer £1100+ over here.

Fakes are illegal to sell in most countries, and certainly illegal to sell/distribute in the UK.

They breach God knows how many design/patent/trademamark laws and, to be honest, I'm surprised this thread has been allowed to remain, given that its no less serious than one asking about illegal software or illegal music downloads for example.

Leaving that aside, its 100% sad if you ask me. Trying to pass something off as real that isn't displays an absolute lack of class.

A fake omega/rolex whatever is cheating yourself.

Yeah but Diablo, a Scooby is a 'fake' sportscar ...ie it does the job of a real sportscar, but is substantially cheaper....
