just needs a wash, should be able to polish that bit out,,,,, not!!!!! lmao
http://www.bumbandits.net/Wreck/PC300008.JPG shows the worst of the damage i think.
rsobb is a gaming clan a mate of mine runs, started off as a joke hence name, the "royal society of bum bandits" but has taken off and is a bit of an animal with about 500 members.
its now up at the clinic waiting for an insurance guy to come and say if its a write off or not,,,, ummmmm thats a hard question!!!!!

You may think its daft now, but writing my Escort GTI off was the best thing that happened to me.
I survived and it calmed me down enough to buy a scoob.
Just a car at the end of the day. Glad you're ok.

Well not all as bad news as i thought, been looking at insurance quotes, was hoping for near the grand mark on a 2.2 astra sri, going back to what i know, and bless me, found one for £850 with admiral. Cool, i know what car i'm gonna get as long as payout is enough.

Having had an off in mine a few months ago I can sympathise with you. I was fortunate to get away with only four grands' worth of paint, panels and screens after going through a barbed wire fence, but Jesus, it didn't have make me think hard about my driving. And that's with loads of advanced driving.
Sometimes you just can't predict the unexpected, I'm still not sure what happened! Certainly adds an extra element of caution to my driving I can tell you!
Good to see you got away okay though - like sjfozzy said, I've seen far less damage and far worse injuries at RTAs, so if the insurance pays out you can count yourself a lucky sod in many ways. Lottery ticket time?
