I would just like to add that I will generously donate my eagerly awaited copy of the Scoobynews cd. It would seem that this long awaited iconic symbol of what Snet is capable of, will be ready by the time that the Tsunami auction is held... Now, no sideways (pun intended) displacement techniques allowed.
Putting tounge in cheeky-ness aside is there any news as to when this auction will take place?
How about donating the funds Snet received for the Scoobynews cd from its members. This way Snet would be free of the burden of trying to produce the goods and a good cause would benefit from the money in the kitty.

Hi All,
Many thanks to the people/organisations who have donated so far
We will be looking at starting the auctions with the Charity Forum possibly over this weekend, or if not certainly early next week.
Each Auction will have it's own thread and we will be asking for people to post Bid's only.
Each Auction will last 2 weeks, at which time the winner will be able to make the winning donation.
Any idea's how we could handle the donation..... We (Scoobynet) do not want monies coming to us, but we need to know that the winning bid's have in fact been donated?
Regards,
Shaun.

Hi All,
I have collated all donation information so far (many thanks to all those who have made donations ).
We presently have over 17 companies/individuals donating services/products totalling a whopping £3200 in value!!!
We are still waiting for some further information from certain donators (if you have donated via pm or on this thread and NOT received a PM about it today, your details are fine and your donation will be entered within the auction).
It looks like the auction will start Monday evening, but we will let you know if this changes and of course keep you up to date on how the auction will finally operate.
If there are any more items/services to be donated, can you please PM (webmaster) with details of your donation, company or name as the donator and also the RRP.
Also......
Any more thoughts or ideas on the payment side, that does not involve Scoobynet dealing with monies.
At the moment the favourite seems to be for the winning bidder to make payment at the post office, gain a receipt , send that to us at Scoobynet and we can then pass on personel details to the donator.
Once again a big thanks to all and lets hope we can raise some serious cash!!!!
Regards,
Shaun.

Re payment. Why doesn't winning bidder pay supplier in usual acceptable way who then gives money to charity and copies receipt to you. Thus bidder cannot fiddle anything and you should be able to trust the donor who offered the goods in the first place and is known to you. DL
