I did just about all the Kudos League at Silver level, but a few of the later races were a bit of a pain - high powered rear wheel drive cars in the wet I had trouble getting to grips with. It's the gold and platinum awards that are giving me greif.

Got 2 more to do and GOt ALL silver............ but it's those damn cone challenges..........
Got to say...... found most of them quite easy going straight to the silver and not bothering with steel and bronze...... (once you start understanding how the car handles..)
The ring is a killer...... try and get past them on the initial straight... other wise keep close to them and 'take them from behind, when they are least expecting it ......'
Sling shot'em

The 'jump-forward' cheat, is actually a small gear change glitch as I understand it. Basically you press the handbrake quickly as you up-shift, this keeps the reve shigher and makes for a quicker change. However, it doesn't make much difference I can tell you, only about half a second to a second on a lap of the ring.
BTW, the best time is now down to a 5:55.08 apparantely!

The Merc is pants tho tbh. I stopped playing a while ago with a few golds left to do including the ring. Finished them off last week. Spent ages trying the ring with the Enzo and actually did it in the Porka GT1 - slow in the straights but sticks like glue through the corners. Managed a lap of 6.41.
Cones took the most time but best bet is do them all in one go. Just go through all the cones and do a tailslide for the ones with the big gaps.
Simon.

Not a massive difference TBH. Just personal preference. I prefer the control for short-shifting etc that the manual can give over the auto, but I kno wguys who are still fast with auto's.
BTW. The merc is actually very good on some of the street circuits, just doesn't have enough top-end for the ring. Should still be as quick as the Enzo though with some ease.
