R1 through the late 80's into the 90's while Bob Harris, Nicky Campbell and Simon Mayo were there. Strayed in to Virgin for a while but they only owned 27 records so soon tired of it. Eventually most of R1's best DJ's matured to R2 which I listen to mostly now. I have 5 locals tuned in on the other buttons to flick if I don't like the song that's on R2, but can't listen to them for long as the adverts are nearly as annoying as the DJ's. I've got a CDP and have though about an MP3 player but, TBH R2 plays such a good selection (mostly, except Sundays) that I can't be bothered with the time and effort of selecting the tracks, loading them etc etc. Just let them surprise me, plus I get to shout at the news

agree, very limited playlist.I always liked Nicky Cambell on R1, shame he didn't go over to R2, would be a worthwhile replacement for wogan. Did I ever mention I can't stand the ****? I'd rather listed to John Mckirrick rambling on about horses than that bumbling, mumbling irish fool.

Fip on t'internet and radciffe/maconnie when the jazz/repeats becomes to much .dont know if kershaw is still on anywhere ? - all this in the evening

The 'fox' however is interesting? is she truly foxy, or does she fit into sally traffic category? i.e, sounds tasty, but is in truth the proud owner of a face like a blistered p1sspot ?
