Oh I know that feeling ! We've stopped giving them to our dog, he just got too possessive over them. We'd find half chewed ones 'saved for later' behind cushions, in shoes, under curtains. A half chewed-slobbery pigs ear isn't particularly pleasant

And if it's Mr Vindictive Scumbag it could well have a pill of something fatal inside, just to get revenge. Brilliant story , but I'd certainly get a cage as above, and I'd line it with cardboard or summat for the first month or two to make sure nothing small gets through.

As Im sure you know; Matlock used to suffer a lot from scrubbers who travelled in, mostly from here in Sheffield. Matlock and Darley Dale were seen as being easy targets for car crime and burglary; relatively wealthy, remote and with few Police. I wouldnt be surprised if this the case with Belper too.

hence the cameras, im afraid its becoming a must to have several pieces of key security if you wish to own a nice car, and other luxeries (sp?) nowadays.

Oh, btw, heard a lovely story several years ago about someone who left their Doberman indoors for a day, and came back to find it acting poorly. They took it to the vet, whereupon it coughed up a finger... On return, they found the shed door covered in blood and a nine-fingered character cowering inside

Better still, get a sealed letter box that either mounts to an outside wall, or seals the inside of your door completely.

Lovely Rottie, BTW - how old is he?

hes just 18 months mate

just been down to focus and bought a cage that sits on the inside of the door over the letterbox, its held very firmly in place, ive got some tin, and im going to line it with that, so no one can drop anything in there.

no worries simon, you know where i am no rush at all my end as long as its either a wednesday or a weekend anytime is fine.

Very good point - If he has been arrested he'll have had a DNA sample taken, common practice now.

Take a sample of the blood down to the local pen and bubble this toerag.
