New shape vectra V6 cool or not cool
#91
I'm replying to direct questions.
I really can't believe all the fuss about me buying a car I like. I've asked for opinion on M3's, CTR's etc etc but on this I've just left it.
I'll not post anymore on this point, get my GSI and enjoy it.
With regard to February, I'm in Australia so I can't go. Track car will be in summer as I need cash for my box of kleenex, pipe and slippers.

Good choice AP, the new GSi is an excellent car for the money. Like you have said (constantly but seemingly ignored by some), they aren't designed to be "cool". They're designed to be fast, practical and comfortable saloons that can easily fit 5 adults in and IMO there's isn't a used car available now for the same sort of price at that age, mileage or kit included that can match it. The ST220 may have an edge in handling but that is totally irrelevant for a motorway mileage muncher and the GSi has the edge in acceleration and top speed anyway, and insurance grouping! I wonder what exactly a cool car is anyway. A Maxxed out 8 year old Impreza with a 19 year old ****** behind the wheel wearing Burberry? Don't think so.
Just to answer an earlier question, I own a GSi and am not a salesman or 70. I also own quite a nice sporty Jag (another old mans car) and am quite happy with that too.

For some reason I thought I was on the last page when I replied.
Hey! I'm busy Ok? I shouldn't even be on here, if I wasn't the boss already, I'd sack me!
