No the feeling mate, Ive seen the joinery trade fill up with chimps over the years, very little training, NVQ level so and so, this is creating the 'don't give a ****' attitude so the trained ,honest craftsman is shown in the same light. Employers don't want to pay for skilled,well trained staff now, it's come down to money and time involved in training again.

Nothing wrong with that I still have my fork lift licence from when I was a forky and before I became a pen pusher in the same industry.
One of the best jobs, if you go agency you can get some damn good money out there and no hassles.

I started life as a TV/Video service engineer, then moved into car audio/security.
When the market got a bit slow I decided to get out and I now repair Linear Accelerators (used for Cancer Treatment) - oh, and I do a bit of IT network administration.

Hi Bud, who do you repair linear accelerators for? My company do pre-installation works for the like of Elekta, Siemens, Varian and the like? Chances are we might have met before!!
