For a hundred quid a year, can you afford NOT to have it? Well worth it imo.

Therefore the true value of the insurance is leass than £250. Is this because:

a) The insuramce company currently has too much money and wish to give it away by letting unprofitable insurance cover or
b) The chances of the insurance co. ever paying out on this policy are so small that the two hundred and something pounds that they get, less IPT, actually covers the risk rather well.

Let's assume b) again, and ergo the insurance is all but worthless.
