Slightly related to topic

Have driven a 115bhp golf gt tdi now for 6 weeks. Although the performance and handling are obviously nowhere near the levels of my P1, I find myself driving on average faster in the golf than i do in the p1, for example motorways. Probably due to a few factors, like less noise, 'invisable car to police' and mpg. But i average around 50 mpg in the Golf, and thats 85-100 mph driving. I'd imagine I would keep in near 85-90 for long trips on the motorway in the Impreza. Just done a round trip from luton to filey in north yorks and theres plenty in the tank still.

Funnily enough i havent driven the P1 at all in 6 weeks Only thing Im a bit fecked off about is the price difference between nul and diesel, one i saw was 6.6p extra per litre (diesel) today!

A VERY astute observation. That has always been a prime consideration IMHO..... Thus, you CAN get about in a nippy lower profile car faster than a ... you name it.

Given the choice, who they going to stop? ... What do points mean? ...
