Mr Lewis was removed from a thread I was involved with about a guy that sold his scoob as he thought someone was following him for car jacking. All that PLewis could contribute to the conversation was must have been cause you had gold wheels so he must have been gay and couldnt put up a decent fight. Thats the level of intelligence you are all dealing with I am afraid. Try not to be taken in by him.

Peanuts, how does my selling the car due to a family mean that what good points I've made about it, are now irrelevant? Its still IMO the best car I've driven. I would like to keep it, but I don't have the space for another car. If having very large doors is the cars only fault (making putting the baby in the back when in tight carparking spaces a bit tricky), then I'm happy our point has been made.

Moray, I believe women and hairdressers can use a mx5 without being laughed at.

Essex boy has highlighted the
double Irony
as mentioned, while feeling nice and smug. is that even more irony?
I also think that if you ask a real driver who is familier with track racing, the mx-5 is a superb drivers car.

Ben, if its so great as you made great pains to point out, how come the minor life adjustment of a baby is making you sell it?
Are you now saying that the P1 is impractical?

FWIW, I think its a super car.

And why exactly do these stand out?
Especially the fecking RB5? - christ its just ANOTHER so called limited edition car that IM put out.
Funny colour and a few stickers?
You can hardly even get parts for the 22B?
P1 - well that was just an STI with all the good bits taken off.

IMO the best car I've driven is the P1. The fact I have neither the room for another car, or the wish to have a new born baby throw up on my pride and joy, doesn't make my selling any reflection on the car. Its a sports car at the end of the day and a fooking good one. I will buy another one (Don't tell the mrs yet) and know that anyone thats owned one will do the same if in my position, as would most TypeR/RB5/WR1/22B/Spec C/(God this list could go on)/Subaru owners.

How many MX5 owners would say that? Mr pslewis? Where are you?

it most surely is not a sports car.
Its a damn fine coupe and by your own admission impractical.

It still bewilders me somewhat why someone would pay MORE for LESS??

The P1 is LESS than a proper Impreza Turbo ................

With most coupes you can tow your Speedboat/Jetski/TrackCar .... the P1 is unique in its complete and utter uselessness ...

........... and it looks like a babies push-along toy!

No-one on this site explores the depths of patheticness as deeply as you do pslewis. Any more pearls of wisdom? We're all waiting blokey.

Brilliant, He's back. But does he drive a MX5?

Not sure where you get your "no performance benifits over a uk turbo" bit from. I've owned both and there is definatly a bit of a difference. Can you explain to us all your logic behind this?

BTW, hows the hairdressing going? The old girl down the road is after a blue rinse if you've got some spare time

"no performance benifits over a uk turbo"
Well maybe the 80 or so bhp might have some benifit?? But in Lewis's eyes, these bhp must be the slow kind!!!
This guy is seriously stupid, even my 5 year old nephew can understand the benifit of 80bhp more.
