P1 service costs against Uk classic ?

Guys ill say it before and i will say it again. Stop ranting on about who's got the best car and who hasn't. Go drive them instead of sitting in front of the pc argueing like children. I take it you bought it to drive it and not to sit on the drive and llok pretty!???? As said earlier anyway about "street cred", i own a sport model, and i dont think that people care what scoob you have as long as it has a scoop, that is what makes people look at your car. Anyhow every impreza generates a lot of attention, but its all from the wrong side, ie chavs, scallies, and general idiots that just want to key it. Chat to you later anyway, off out for a drive......

Driven a classic uk turbo and i have a P1. There is no comparison whatsoever, just heft the bonnet up on the std uk car and feel the weight of it, a telling comparison between the direction of both cars

I was fortunate enough to work at a Subaru dealer when the P1 was launched. I remember the excitement it generated at the time. To be honest I found it a little disappointing on my first encounter. Sure it looked superb with its stupendous metallic blue paintwork, but on driving it, I couldn’t really feel a huge step up in performance from a stand UK turbo. It was a few months later that I drove a `well’ run in P1 with the big brakes, then I appreciated the genius behind the car, I especially remember braking ridiculously late for a corner and the feeling of almost going through the windscreen. It was then I truly got what a P1was about. I own a MY00 turbo now but if I could afford it, I would have a P1 (with big brakes!!).
