at some of the milages quoted!!! i'm looking to get an impreza at the mo and one reason for selling my bimmer was i only get 300 miles ish out of a tank and that's on £60 so i get 100 miles to £20.

Ive got a Sti Type R.

Ive managed to do a full tank 40-45 pounds in less than 100 miles!!!!!

But normaly average 80-90 miles off 20 pounds.

Cheers Shimy.

MY04 WRX Wagon Ninja BB. (10K on the clock)

I do 100 miles a day (Mon-Fri) every other week up the A24 and onto the A3 into Putney.

I know that £25 of Optimax at 85p (ish) will get me two days of driving. That roughly works out at 160 miles from £20, which is nearer to 180 miles in my car.

Couple of weeks ago...

Fuel light on, £10 in, hard driving, fuel light on........ 69.3 miles. Naughty but nice

J.

£20 = 23.84 litres of Opti @ 84p litre

= 5.23 galls so if i'm good, very good, it will give 125 but average 99 - worst so far 78

Just been for a spin upto Stoke and back from wet 'n wild Bristol: round trip of 268 miles sipping a meagre £34 worth of Optimax in the process. With a quick slap of the figures that equates to:
157 miles on £20
(Standard MY03 STi)

On a 300 mile motorway drive I could not make it on a full tank - at least £45, a friend with a Brand New WRX did it on 3/4 of a tank.

£20 does not seem to get me very much at all.
