Perhaps stand yourself?

Or vote for the only decent alternative labour.

No one would vote for me, that I am sure. I am not that arrogant to think that I deserve others faith in my ability to sort this **** shower of a country out. I mean, I can't even spell or construct a comprehensible sentence most of the time, so what chance have I got of knowing what needs to be done? If the way I deliver my message is so simply and obviously flawed, imagine how ****e I would be at running things...

Besides, I would just end up lining my own pockets like everyone else in public office. I still am a firm believer that anyone that gets to become an MP should get an average of the wages that they earnt previously and so removing any financial incentive to being an MP.

Do you really want this country to be handed to the wolves of Europe?

Leslie have you been to the majority of europe recently ?.

the way things are going Italy will be ahead of us interms or infrastructure and investment benefits and they havently consumed themseleves with debt to get there.

The UK is suffering through bad investment and thoose investment choices are made by this "new" labour government.

looking at the graphics they have squandered $40billion, without taking into account the money they have gathered and spent as well, and what do we have to account for it.

massive underfunding of local councils even though counicil tax rises have been massive.

Is the NHS service any better ?.

Our roads and rail are in complete dis-array.

anybody who cannot see this is a fool.

A strategically placed large explosive placed in the commons timed for a strategic date could rid this country of all the current standing political parties and start a new.

There's me off on a Citizen Smith again. It'd never work anyway, as some slimey MP who couldn't be arsed to turn up will survive and end up running the country.

No different to know then is it?

Hello

This is depressing reading: http://uk.news.yahoo.com/050127/325/fb6wl.html

LONDON (Reuters) - Hospitals are beset by killer bugs, violent crime is rising, universities struggle to keep departments open and almost half the electorate thinks the prime minister was wrong to go to war in Iraq.

Yet opinion polls show Britons will vote Tony Blair back for a third term in an election expected in May, albeit with a reduced majority which could hamper his legislative plans.

It's about time we brought in the American 2 term policy. Don't think I can stomach another 4 years of that smug tw*t.

Labour have done extremely well considering the utter collapse of the country that the Tories precided over!

Luckily enough of us remember the hell that was before 1997 - and therefore the superior Labour will win easily ........... memories might fade come 2010 sadly and it will be a close election

In fact the country had been turned around from a vicious world recession by the Tories and NL continued with the financial policies laid down by the previous government. They gave control of the interest rate to the Bank of England as the only major change.

Since then they have increased taxation beyond belief, and that will get considerably worse. They have squandered our reserves and all those taxes due to sheer incompetence or lack of political will. Brown will have to run to the IMF as did Callaghan, and we shall be in a pretty parlous state after the next election.

The so called improvements are all "pie in the sky". They are good at telling us about them but the words are hollow.

Well, if all that scaremongerring is true then we shall see Labour defeated.

If the majority think its all poppycock, the Labour will win.

We shall see

Lightbulb Big bucks.

In post #8 is that graph showing that between 02/03 and 03/04 that ~2% of national income changed from 13.9 to 20.7bn pounds?

Therefore national income increased in one year by (50*20.7-50*13.9)=£340bn £427bn using more accurate percentages, that is £7000/citizen. Where's mine?
