the only difference between me and a garage is that i can't stamp the book and provide a receipt. and i don't touch cambelts for the obvious reasons! (do my own through!)

but i do service's at peoples house in prob half the time of a garage, and at a time suited for them. (thats if i'm not at my day job!)

Sahme I missed out on the new 3 Years free servicing huh!!!!
Perhaps it is their mission to try and get some costs back!!!
Floyd when I saw those trousers on you I just had to have a pair too!!!
Mind you I did draw the line at the red "WORD-UP!" style cod piece that you seem insistant on wearing.

Hi ben watch out for them (we both know who I am talking about) overchargeing on parts they tried to charge me £6.50 for the oil filter when it should be £4.50 pointed out to them that retail price is £4.50 so they changed it for me but have since learnt that one month later they are still chargeing £6.50 for oil filters. Only £2, but its a matter of principle.

Have checked with another dealer and oil filter is still £4.50.

PMSL Not everyone can carry it off like me and anyway, it scares the dealers into giving away the services

F
BTW You should see Simo wearing his rubber pants with "deliver it to me tradesman style" in pink writing

Little bit of a thread hijack here but as you look to be local to me I'll ask anyway, is there a Milton keynes scooby group, if not who are the nearest?

Neither a chav (thank god) nor a scooby owner yet, just thought I'd ask as a number of other cars I've owned had local owners groups (westfield and mx-5)
