Jamie, a few of us have used other mappers to get the power figures we did.
I reckon coming along to a Smacs meet one wed night would put you on the right track.
Between us we`ve got some very good results and if we can pass on that info, you could save some cash etc.
Just a thought.

andy, sorry i didnt log your run m8. didnt do a db reading either
nice car you have there, I can remember pete getting that in, and me drooling over it when it was under cover in the garage
keep an eye on the northern section, as we'll be stepping up our run outs in the future.
hope to see you soon m8,
nice tracksuit by the way
chris.

Ive just noticed that on my graph he stopped at 5800rpm???
i reckon chris bunged him a tenner coz he knew deep down id beat him if i used all revs
on a more serious note on everyone elses, is it ran right upto the red line or near enough as mines almost 1000rpm from the redline?

are you sure it isn't that the power drops off after 5800? mine starts dropping off around the 6k mark, then stops dead around 6.5k. safely mapped of course.

Nope graph doesnt go past 5800 although it was on the way down, but my graph is bumpy as hell anyway, so 'could' have gone back up

yep, deffo run out of steam there mark. that is one bumpy map as well, can you get it smoothed out at all? maybe see a proper mapper, rather than just a chip?
thats what mine used to look like before I had it mapped, now, apart from my slight drop @ 3900, which is being sorted, its as smooth as a babys bum
chrome, you going to the midlands mega meet with poppy? if so, we'll see you there m8

oh! just found my graph before I fitted the sti panel filter, taken the day after getting it mapped by BRD.
As you can see mark, very smooth, apart from the annoying drop.
I only notice that on the motorway though, or if I'm really giving it some on a very fast straight A road. The power is all in by 3500, so no need to go over 4k really.

or something.
Looking at the way the power dropped just before 6thou it looks like redlining the audi is pointless, you may as well change up at 5.5thou and use the torque.

Chris,
Andy A is almost spot on
its nothing to do with the map, them bumps are due to the Haldex switching power between front and back when it detects one axle moving quicker than the other i.e. slipping in its mind. So the power is distributed between axles to bring them back upto rotational harmony , think its the actual clutch within the Haldex that saps some of the power or some people think that TC cuts in to stop the spinning first before moving power even if TC is turned off but its never been confirmed!!
See isnt it great this automotive cultural diversity i bring to the group

No wonder your car is heavy with all the gismos Audi have fitted...
Still its on the road that counts.... and I bet it drives better than the RR figs suggest.
