I did enjoy the shove in the back tho, very nice lazy power. I think I'd like it even more with a remapped car (around 180bhp in the Fabia?).
I have an Ibiza Cupra 160 TDI and when I first got it I was averaging around 38mpg, as the miles went on and the engine loosened up the mpg rose to around 45mpg average. Under 25mpg seems very low for normal driving but if you where sticking the boot down (you dont have to red line it to get the best out of it) then I suppose around 25mpg wouldnt be too bad under those circumstances?
With a remap you can achieve 200bhp which really makes the car shift and the brakes are excellent (AP Racing 4 pot 312mm) so all in all its quite a good car, if you can put up with the interior!

Wings are a authorised Superchips dealer. It's a remap they offer done by Superchips. Superchips themselves warrant any defect which can be attributed directly to a cause of failure because the ECU was remapped , underwritten by Firebond Insurance.
So, like I said, Skoda do not endorse it, and if the car failed with a terminal problem at the opposite end of the country, the dealer would inform skoda of the mods.

Likewise if your dealer was to go bust, you would be left in no mans land....

I'm also quite confident that Skoda do not know of Wing's claims.

By all means modify them, but be under no illusion you are taking a risk on warranty.

Yeah mate, they are nice little cars to be honest. Pretty nippy for what they are, but not for me unfortunately. The ride was harsh to say the least .

And I didn't redline it at all tbh, dunno what was up with that.

If anyone's interested and looking for a Fabia vRS, i've just put mine in the Autotrader this morning. Basically been offered a pool car from work, so i want to get another (cheaper) Impreza again as a fun/weekend car.

It's a Jan 2005 registered Fabia vRS PD130 in met silver, was only delivered to me on 8th Jan 2005 and has only done 1710 miles since then. Immaculate condition, it's always garaged when not being used. Tax till Jan 2006, main dealer warranty/AA cover till Jan 2008. Aircon, ASR, ABS, Airbags, Cat 1 alarm/immob.

Here's a pic taken this morning:

More pictures available on request.

£11,750 ovno. Drop me a PM if you're interested.
