Although I am new to SN, I get the impression that Mr Lewis just likes to attempt to upset people, on most threads he posts on.
It also seems to be quite a common statement that PS Lewis drives an MX5 (which he claims has a wheel vibration at 135mph), and he also works as a hairdresser.
Gold wheels arent my cup of tea, but I wouldnt dream of calling anyone gay.
Sorry to be so outspoken.

They will have checked the car out on the radio before pulling you over and it's a fair bet that if it stops then it's not stolen!! And they're only doing their job (some even drive scooby's themselves, even on their wages!!).
