Why do people take the internet so seriously?

Let's put you to some use popeye, since you are eager to voice your opinion. Tell me something that *is* of interest... what does your lame-o-meter say about people who register usernames for the sole purpose of chasing people on the internet with the intention of causing trouble, people who then become bitter and hateful when their plans fail? What of them?

I think it is because they have over-invested themselves emotionally. In Tiggs's case I hurt his feelings by exposing his views in a few threads as being overtly hypocritical, substantiated by various posts he has made.

He feels he needs to get me back now, hence the bitter and hateful posts in here. It's delicious!

Well the cap does fit, not least because you tend to target a relatively small number of users on here. It was no surprise to see you pop up in this thread. A thread which was designed for that very purpose as it happens.
