Decent job..never really had a hangover in the morning,i didnt really see the prob at the time!!There was about 8 regular lads all in our 20's and we was consistantly out in the pub.I can honestly say that at one point i had been out every night for 2 years solid, and had been drinking between 8 and 12 pints of stella a night.
We tried going to fosters, carlsberg, carling etc etc..but the "drunk" effect never seem to come, however much was supped!!!
I aint the same any more,i reckon i drink about 10-15 pints a week max, over 2-3 nights out.If i have a gallon of stella now,my head in the morning is terrible.
I have never had a beer in the house though,i always seen drinking as a social thing, and still do.If i dont make the effort to go out and see my mates,i just dont have any ale at all..
Lookin back,i was pretty scared at one point of becoming an alcoholic, many say i was more than 1/2 way there. When i think of the money i pissed up the porcelain it makes me cringe!!!

Ha ha..full on curries was our forte..then we progressed to havin curries delivered directly to the pub..it was a golden era!! ha ha..A £1000 a month on ale and curries and generally living a champagne lifestyle, when i was only earning Boddies bitter money,al gets a bit much in the end.
From that time in my life, one of the lads who regularly with us is now struggling payin of £42,000 in credit card bills...it all started in the pub as a good laugh!!!
Its a salutory(sp) tale!!!!

Well Im 30, 5'8", 13st 4, with a small lager baby tum. I drink 7 cans of stella every Wednesday - wednesday has been a mid week drinking institution for me and my pals for 10 years now... Its getting no easier or harder to wake in the mornings that it was when I was 20...
Weekends average around 16 pints - 8x2 Fri and Sat... Usually down me local sometimes at friends houses.
I do not normally touch a drop on the other 4 nights a week, I eat healthily and excercise properly 4 times a week and feel damn good for it Im probably healthier now than when I was in my mid twenties and living off kebabs and when excercise was walking to the bus stop
