Talking

I wouldn't want to eat my picnic off of it or iron my underpants on it, all covered in entrails and that.

In fact no. The only road test figures I had to hand. 16.9secs 0-100mph is hardly flattering for the bug/wrx. All from the same source, so not a bit from here and there.

And if I was to get the fastest recorded figures for classics you would probably poo yourself

Is that a sore 'L' I see on your forehead

by all means if you have road test figures from a reliable single source I would be interested in seeing them.

Corner!

This thread is irretrievably muppety. After numerous unsuccessful attempts to divert the flow of discourse, firstly into being on-topic, then secondly into being completely off-topic, I pronounce it to be wibble, with an aftertaste of hatstand.

Geek: No? you've gone mighty quite since I have proved that your 60-100mph formulae is pants and so too are your comments about brakes and a Clio being faster

Dont worry geek. Victory tastes much sweeter once you have tasted defeat.

Knowledge is power. Back up what you say with facts.

Geek: I assume your silence re:"by all means if you have road test figures from a reliable single source I would be interested in seeing them.

is self explanatory?

There will never be a conclusion LOL

Put 100 car fanatics in a room and ask them a car related question and you will get 120 opinions LOL

I still theinnk once moving a Clio 182 is faster than a new age WRX.

You will not change my mind on that - I had a WRX, wy wife has the Clio..so I talk from experience.

You can put all the figures you want on here - nothing will change my mind.

You have mentioned a couple of times about the braking now - yet I have seen "evidence"........

I still absolutely think that Subaru brakes are the worst part of the car.

Anyway....to be honest you have insulted me a few times now, and clearly think you are the "winner" - so I'll todddle off, revert back to my normal username, and save 'gb' for another 15 pager.

It been fun.

No worries. Live and learn.

and those braking stats for you....

Autocar jan 2002:

Scoob WRX: 60-0mph = 2.8secs
Clio Sport V6 = 2.9secs
Clio Sport = 3.7secs

See ya.

You do so amuse me.

Yeah Autocar drove it into a brick wall to get good times so I could prove you wrong

I would be suprised if you've even driven a wrx as you would know that the brakes are fine.

Take care

What kind of insecure pillock has to use a different username for this kind of confrontation? It beggars belief, it really does....
