I would bet that there is far less brain damage in bare nuckle stuff as you cannot repeatedly give huge punches to the head before your hand or your opponents face falls apart.
More clips please.

I for one can't get my head around the attraction. I've been to amateur boxing and watching 2 kids knock the **** out of each other (despite gloves and head-guards) wasn't my idea of fun. First and last time I've watched it live and seldom bother watching boxing on tv.
That's just me though and that said I've never shied away from a fight myself. Weird huh.

Did you know that there have been more serious injuries (brain stuff) in the UFC and Pride since the itroduction of gloves?
It is strange, and sort of fighting goes against the very core of things I hold dear to me. However, when it's on I can't help but watch.
It is kinda funny when you get the loud mouth in the silly bright shorts, shouting I'm the greatest etc and he gets tw4tted in the first 20secs by an unknown.

Sparring in a gym with 16/14oz gloves or even fighting with 10oz gloves is vastly different to fighting bare knuckle.
A whole new level of pain is involved! I've done both so know the difference.
Agree, the fight wasn't superb, but many bare knuckle fights are exactly the same. It wasn't the worst I've seen, far from it.
Kimbo slice seems to be a hard ******, I'd like to see more of his fights.
I loved the other guy's reaction to kimbo taking his best shots, superb!

I've been into this for some time and it was me who posted the original Kimbo Vs Gannon thread. Kimbo is a tough guy, but put him against a pro fighter, he'll get his **** whipped - bear in mind that in that fight it was stand up bare-knuckle boxing...kimbo broke a rule and went for his leg at which point gannon got him in a choke...gannon could have left kimbo for dead there.
Check out videos for K1 tournaments - plenty on the web. Look for MMA sites too - loadsa vids. Check out the likes of Cro Cop etc...these guys are TOUGH!

Old boy who just retired from my work used to be a circus fighter, you know the ones, take on all comers....... massive brut of a guy even at 72. He brought loads of pics etc in was an interesting guy to talk to... He explained how the biggest hiding he ever got was from a skinny little guy half his weight .... He turned out to be the Army Lightweight champion ......Pete still laughs about it now.
