I am highly skeptical about hypnosis, at least in the form they try to portray it.
Don't confuse stage hypnosis with hypnosis for a specific purpose. Works best for problems that have been going on for a long time and if the root is buried deep in the subconscious. It helps to be open minded about it. I had fantastic results after dealing with a seemingly incurable phobia for over 10 years.

It all depends on how good the hypnotherapist is.

Once I was effectively cured the hypnotherapist asked if I had any other problems that he could help me with. Jokingly I asked if he could do anything to help stop me missing putts on the golf course that were under 3 feet. The ones that you know you should hole, but often miss

I never thought anything of it until months later when a mate commented that I'd lost the jitters over the small putts and were fairly rattling them in

Hypnotherapist in question has done loads of work re sports psychology and although not his specialised field, I was amazed at the results. He struggled more when I asked if he could help me run the 100 metres in under 10 seconds though

If you do opt for hypnosis, then make sure he or she is affiliated to the NHRP and everything is above board. Otherwise you'll probably leave the session with a sore **** and an empty wallet

You can probably use the £65 to pay someone to use your crutch as a snack food, now

Congrats m8.

5 days left and your over the bad bit.

with all these people quitting smoking, it's no wonder we have more scamera vans popping up to recoupe the money in lost tobacco taxes.

Would it be unfair of me to pick an argument with you now then?

Good luck with it! I did it last year, went cold turkey & i'm over it. I still occasionally (about once a month) have a couple on a night out when bladdered but its so rare & far between IMo it hardly counts.

Last one I smoked even in that scenario was NYE.

Sounds a bit cliche too, but I can taste so much more food as well!

but Chris we've been getting on so well

thats what Im most looking forward to (the food), when I gave up last time after a couple of months I could barely handle the hot assed curries of a usual sat night bender, I became appreciative of fresh produce.
Ive really struggled this afternoon, but Im through it and I managed to hold out thus far without cracking

came across wrong...

ive got to the point where Im using logic, I cant work out why I would want to smoke, in the old days (if you like *during the war*) as a smoker there was no logic, cognitive dissonance, you knew it was bad but you did it anyways.

the bit Im really looking forward to is when I can smell stale smoke on people after theyve finished their ***. Then I will know Im past the worst of it..

football is away this week so thats another hard task I wont have to face (half time *** when we're two nil down etc)

all in all Im feeling a lot better, noticed I lasted playing the whole football game (sunday 5 a side) without getting weezie.
prolly had 4 **** over the last week and a bit,
this weeks challange, none at all

I truely want to pack in the tabs, indeed I gave up for six or seven months last year, but let mny guard down one night in the boozer.
I am fine when I have made the jump, I just need a push and hope that this will be it!
Good luck, this will certainly be able to help you. They may provide you with a tape/cd you will need to listen to on a reg basis (once a day for 30 mins), which will backup what they take you through in the session. I am qualified in this area, but dont practise as IT generally pays better. I have some materials that could help you also so please PM me if you need this..
Good luck
James
