I am trying to work out why New Zealand has substantially modified quick young men. Is this what genetic engineering has come to?

As for me, I'm well past 40, have all my hair and faculties, and I am certainly not fat. However, I do have cheap insurance.

36 going on 37, with a fully paid up beer gut and a monks hair-cut!

Had to get over 30 to be able to afford to insure a decent motor!

KenG: If you are trying to work out why New Zealand has <B>'substantially modified quick young men'</B>? Maybe it's the ratio of men to sheep!

I'm all for this adding wieght to counteract the effects of upgrades, how may four packs and Thai curry's do I have to shift to justify a Magnex backbox and an induction kit

I'm 28, no.1 'haircut' (the style for those of us who only get one choice) and I'd like to think that my Link ECU and HKS induction filter more than make up for my chips and pizza intake.

After long months reading this board and not even registering as a user this topic has finally given me the kick up the backside I needed to register.....Can't see an overweight, bald, 50ish driver driving the scooby that I like to call mine..... But certainly have a very confident and able driver to take me where I want to go,and I certainly am not that old and my hair is long. But I'm only a passenger.....Gosh some people!!!!!!!

Colin Thompson,

re: "You obviously dont get out much.
6ft 2in,vertically challenged?"

A) Well, yes, I do get out quite a bit, actually.
B) Yes, I consider 6ft 2in to be vertically challenged... but that's because I'm only 5ft 16in and you know how touchy us short people get about peoples height.
C) You forgot to argue about my weakling point... 6ft 2in and 13stone isn't exactly viking build, is it?

Moray
(PS: The 5ft 16in isn't a typo. )

I'm 26 and had my Scooby since Janurary this year. I think I was starting to go grey before the car arrived though.

Thought I'd post this before I reached 27 at the end of this month

Well I'm 52, and 5ft 18"" tall (no misprint), and 19 stone (maybe more - the bathroom scales stop there)

So the choice for more performance is either lose 5 stone or the Prodrive performance pack!

JD

But I have plenty of hair, even if it is blonde (!)

Having seen this lot I can't help thinking that a survey of Scooby Profiles would be interesting-
Silhouette profiles would be very interesting if we could depict number of chins, thickness of fat at the waistline - if we could find a waistline!
Seriously, the typical profile of a scoobyman/woman would make interesting reading.
What questions should we ask?
Age?
Sex?
Height to weight ratio?
Neck size?
Head size?
Ego size?

And when Mr Plod stopped me he capped off my warning with...."Anyway boy racers are usually half your age!"
Cheeky young rascal lol

Read all the replys, and thought the extra questions above were quite good.

So here goes, a smidge over 6'4 just over 20 stone 26 years old (don't feel it by a long shot. Help 30 is approaching ) And still fit enough to run to the train station most mornings. Last check my neck was 19". Head size - big enough to require about the largest safety helmet going. Ego size - don't believe in ego's. You are who you are, can't be bothered with the Bull****

Quite an interesting cross section of people own scoobs. I have also noted that most drive sensibly in built up areas, but out in the country side and deserted back roads, they tend to have the leash removed all good fun and thats what the scoob is designed for.
I am rambling.........
