But you won't see mine on a drag strip as it an everyday car and isn't stripped out like andy's etc.
still has full interior, synchro gearkit, air con, sat nav, stereo, spare wheel and a heavy weight full time battery. I wonder what it could do with a good driver behind the wheel, such as andy.
If you want to look out for fast cars in the future then i would keep an eye on Pavlo.
Am fairly certain he will overtake Andy this year for the best quarter mile time, but you can't take anything away from andy's driving, including on the handling track.
In terms of sheer power, much as mine probably has the most torque (without nitrous) watch out for christians which should now be running. He made 595 proven bhp on the engine dyno and 621lbft. His is the same engine spec as mine although he went for a different manifold which cost him his air con and for the larest turbo which would be reasonable. i wasn't prepared to lose out on drivability for the sake of saying I have the most power, so am happy to make do with a less trained 500 of each and much more usable torque. I am also against the idea of nos but can see its advantage for drag racing.

the RC car is at Oulton quite a lot. massively quick, but can never do it for very long, and it does show up the weaknesses in the chassis.
try driving it to work every day .... great as a show of what can, theoretically, be done. In practice though it ain't really practical, if that makes any sense whatsoever

no he doesn't!
a dog box car with no sychro to worry about will allow for much shorter changes which should make a difference to ET, plus it isnt stripped out like the competition.
Then there's the driver!

Suprised at the low Topspeed record of a Scoob would expect it to be past 190.
Any reason for that. Shape, gearing etc.
EVO's & Cossies have their 200mph cars. .

Rod - you're right about the top speed being relatively poor with scoobs, I think it's mainly aerodynamics. I can't imagine the bonnet scoop helps with drag, particularly. 4wd transmission losses also won't help either, but that applies to skylines, evos and many cossies, so I can't see that being the only problem.
Limited to 0-100 in 7.15 by traction. Oh, the hardship
