when i have watched him on the telly, he always talks to "sam" who the **** is this sam???

We meet Derek on a cruise and he was a nice bloke.
He said things to us that made me belive.
not going to share them all but some thing he said to my father-in-law was "your going to lose your job soon"
Father-in-law has been in the same job for 20 odd years and we said later, bollox, he doesn't know what he's talking about.
Got back home a week later and he had a letter on his door mate containing his redundancy (sp) notice
Don't disbelive till it's proved to you, coz it's all true, it is!!!

For the umpteenth time - I countered your scientific mumbo jumbo 8 months ago in another ghost thread and yet every time someone posts something that might be ghost related you climb out of you sarcophogus and whittle on about science zzzz.

Sticky, sounds like some pretty weird ***** happening there - nothing quite so bad at my house but enough to know that I have a guest who isnt paying rent (and I dont mean my split)...I'm too afraid to do the ouija (opening unknown doors and all that) - but you should ask around for local mediums with a good reputation and pay for a visit... if so much is going on I'd much rather know who and why and what can be done to stop it etc...

more wierd stuff update
few nights back i was sitting in the office about 7pm doing the money and stuff
kettle switched itself on behind me
was a bit wierd
2/3 days ago 3 of us at work were outside, 2 lads washing a car while i did summit, one of the brushes we use outside to clean the front and rear of the cars was standing there bristles to the floor balanced perfectly with the handle pointing towards the sky
Ian noticed it, blamed me, wasnt me i blamed one of them, dan who wasnt really a beliver in the weird stuff to beguin with said sumthing like "wooooaaa"
the brush can not "fall" out of the large bucket thing and end up like that, the chances of that happening must be over a million to one, the people who have seen the brushes and the black buckets will know what im on about

that's the only thing I can suggest...
well actully thing like that happen to me
one night when i was nearly asleep a stearo turned on which the plug was off.... it came on FULL blast playing my fav song
i couldent get back to sleep for hours.. then my mobile rang and i awnsered and it was only like a weird noise kindov freaky but... weird and when i am sitting on this and my tv is off... MTV comes on full blast then i turn it off and leave it a while and then movies come on really silest FREAKY!
that's the only thing I can suggest...well actully thing like that happen to me

Mate of mine was telling me his ghostie stories the other night.
His family home has some 12th century bits and they just accept it's haunted in parts, impressions on the beds like someone is lying there, cold when it's not, rooms the dogs won't go into etc. Doesn't really bother them. Which makes his tale of what happened in a rented Edinburgh flat all the more believable.
Books flying off the shelf, a whole pile of them came out about a meter then dropped (this was witnessed btw) then waking up in the bedroom and everything appeared to be trashed, but on closer inspection everything was balance precariously, like the stereo, speakers, the telly was balanced on the small flap that the controls are hidden behind. Lots of other mental stuff. They moved out, it got exorcised. Woooooooooh!
