1. Loony Tunes
2. Hard Core!!! ( may sound like a **** shop )
3. Rhythms/Rhythmic ( sounds cr@p! )
4. Euphoric/Euphoria( not bad! -contemporary )
5. Dancemaster ( not bad - contemporary )
6. Voodoo ( not bad )
7. Echo ( so-so )- depends upon the art work with design and logo on facia
8. Vibgyor ( denoting rainbow- get it? )- with rainbow colour effects on the logo

And many more!

All above might be cr@p to you but will get you going with ideas
All the best

Why open a CD shop ?

I used to buy a LOT of CD's, now I download them, I haven't bought a CD at a "bricks and mortar" shop for quite a while now.

You sure theres still a market ?

What? So people come into the shop, fill their pockets with hundreds of CDs they will never listen to, pick up a load of filthy viruses while they're at it, and then **** off without paying?

Default Thanks

Thanks for all the reples folks. To answer some of your questions....
The shop is based on the west coast of Ireland which isnt really that well served by broadband, so it means downloading takes ages .
We will also be stocking Mobile Phones and DJ equipment so wont solely be relying on CDs for income.
I think we are gonna go with Sondbyte as the name, unless you guys can come up with some more.

Thanks again,
Simon.

Just a thought -

It's not served by broadband now, but will be in a couple of years, when the shop will suffer the same problems as predicted now. In which case I'd go for a name that is a little bit more flexible - can be adapted to DJ equip and/or mobile phones if the CD side phases out (which I predict it will, and I'm no sage!). Or the name will become increasingly inappropriate.

- unless that is your reason for choosing "byte"?

Another one for Clubscene - especially if you're going to sell other stuff like DJ Equipment and also taking into account for what Brendan has said?
