What car 40K budget?

A lot of the above are too heavy for what I want it for.
Love a 911, my uncle has just bought a new GT3, 993 looks promising, put that one on the list.
VX220 Turbo not a lot more different to what Ive got.
Thanks

From a practical point of view, you wouldn't go far wrong with a Boxster S. I test drove one, loved it. It is refined, but it's one hell of a chassis, and it does get consistantly very good reviews. Plus it is surprisingly very practical, it has more space than a fiesta. Or you could wait and buy a Cayman S, which I hear is going to be sh1te hot!¬

Type R,
I sold wife's Elise and got a Noble last year, 'only' the 2.5. There are advantages in buying 2nd hand me thinks, in that the car was totally sorted, serviced at the factory every time. The Elise was hassle in lots of niggly things went wrong but still enjoyed it.Use the Noble everyday, have done 9k problem free miles in 7 months, first car I've had where I haven't got bored with it's performance. Can't think of any reason to say don't buy one. And with the four luggage bags, you'd be surprised how much stuff you can actually take with you.
Customer service from the factory is superb, if you are looking to buy second hand and find a car you are interested in, you can ring them to confirm it's history, if it's been serviced by them.
Never get hassled on the road, lots of waves and many cars seem to move over just so they can take a photo with their phones
Only downside I can think of is it's very hard to go anywhere incognito!
