Does anybody else hate...

I get spit at, punched, have meals thrown over me, verbally abused, work absurdly stupid shifts, fill in endless amounts of useless paper work, errr....
I hate to state the blatantly obvious, but surely you did have some idea that it was going to be like that when you joined....
I appreciate that you probably set out with the intention of being able to make a difference etc. but it just sounds like you aren't cut out for the job.
I hope you find something soon more to your liking..

The days of "you jump when i tell you to jump" are long gone. The job has gone to the dogs im afraid.
I am seriously looking to get out now, so hopefully i will have something else in the near future.
Its not a case of not being cut out for it as ive done the job for a while now, its more a case of having your hands tied and being unable to do anything about the constant abuse.

A word of advice. If you hate your job, get out. But make sure you have somewhere else to go first.
It is very easy to achieve, if you put your mind to it.
I hated my job, so I left.

Does he look bothered? Is his face bothered? Does he look bothered, though? Does he look bothered, though? Is there any part of his face that looks bothered, though?

I actually LOVE my job, and what I detest the most is fukcing whingers who keep saying they hate theirs. If you aren't happy move on and find something you do like. I am passionate, loyal and excited each morning I sit at my desk or, with my 2nd job, choosing which cage to work... I am content and motivated... my motivation rubs off and my positivity rubs off too. If a member of staff says to me after I ask how are you 'well, I'm here' I say, fukc off then!

I am not a fcucking whinger, i am somebody who is stuck in a job i do not like and i am currently trying my best to get out of it.
To find another job which pays similarly decent wages but offers me some job satisfaction and enjoyment is not an easy task!!
Please do not pretend to know the situation i am in and please do not feel compelled to come on here insulting people and rubbing peoples noses in it with your oh so wonderful life!
Your motivation and positivity certainly didn't rub off on me!!

Gav1 have you tried the jobcentre+ website? Usually has quite a few vaccancies and will give you an idea of the wages you could expect from a different field. As an example driving jobs can pay anything from £200 a week up to £70K a year depending on employed or self employed status and the hours you are willing to work.
I know someone that use to work Mon- Fri 7am-1pm and 3pm-7pm and sat 8am-11am for £70K a year they had to take their van costs from that but was still left with quite a fair amount afterwards.
Try companies such as Target, Business post, securicor etc. Get your name down on a waiting list for a round at all the different delivery firms that contract out to owner drivers. You don't have to own the vans, you can lease or hire them so don't need much start up capital.

Thanks for that mate...some constructive advice atlast!!
I am definitely interested in driving jobs as it is something i enjoy, just wasnt to sure about the first steps in the owner/driver field. Will make the initial enquiries you suggested and let you know the outcome.
70k.....obviously only an approx' figure but even after stoppages and lease payments thats still a good salary.
Thanks again.
