Oh please, if you want rally heritage you can't just throw on a couple of stickers, go faster stripes do not make you go and faster, it's an urban legend.

Stickers are a plague on Subaru's, it used to be fun seeing one or two 5 or 10 years ago, but now they're like ***** driven by ****.

Granted, never said I liked them, not keen on stickers/stripes at all but was stating there is a difference between these and chav'ed up motors.

When I was looking to buy my 3rd Scoob 3 years ago you were lucky to see 1/4 page of private ads in the Auto trader plus very few for sale from the dealers. Noticed in last weeks that there were 2 pages (starting at 2k) plus plenty from the cheaper garages. I don't have a scoob at the minute(328i) and sadly have decided to look at other alternatives for my next car such as an S4. Loved the Scoob but have decided its time to move on, not because I'm bothered by what the up & coming burberry wearer is driving this year, but because of the unwanted attention the car is now getting. Each to their own though.

The car has repsonded well to tunning, K&N, zorst, a boost controller and a dump valve and masive gain of 140bhp!!

No wonder there are so many bids.... try and sell the genuine un-molester article and you don't get a single one

I can't take any car with lexus lights seriously anyway. I just really hate them, so cheap and tacky.

This is also what I worried about when i was trading my high-mileage scoob in. I tried so hard to keep it too, so that it wouldn't fall into the hands of chavs. Just hope it didn't

I'll be selling my high miler soon, how did the trade in go, ripped off or happy with what they offered??, I'll be parting with a MY98, owned by myself since it was 6 months old, 6000 on the clock then, nearer 128000 now and it has never given me any grief, I'm almost loathed to sell/px it beause I will probably get so little for it and it still pings about the place like it did 7 years ago, only getting rid "so we can get a family car" her words not mine, when translated to male speak " coz you gave up work to have kids I cant afford to run the scoob any longer", mind you that was 19 months ago I've done well to hold on so long

Face it people, the Impreza has gone the way of the Ford RS cars, as they become older they become cheaper and more accessible to younger drivers.

It's a fact of life, so accept it.

We don't like what some do to thier own cars, but then it's their choice.

Just look at the number of views the ad has received on ebay. Great way to market a car. Lets face it, stickers can be removed, and as long as the servicing has been carried out on time, should be an ok car if the price is right. Since when has, being 'intelligent and knowledgible' been an asset when selling a car? Believe me I should know...

what is wrong with adding graffix to a car
if done properly it can enhance the overal look........... sometimes

i am having scooby swooshes done in a couple of days across the doors, cos when i had my bonnet painted the colour was wrong and didnt match the rest of the car so the graffix will break up the overall look so the miss-match is not so obvious, i will have a respray when the car is finished

call me a chav or whatever, but each to their own i say
we dont move house 'cos our neighbour didnt cut his hedge the same as the rest of the street

Hope no one at my work sees this car - I'll never hear the last of it!

Bear in mind folks that a car is not responsible for those who drive it! :-)

BTW Yes, that's Fecking awful!! At least the owner didn't wrap it around a tree! Whilst it may have improved its looks, it would have been another reason for the insurance companies to raise the already high premiums. This, however, may turn out to be the Scooby's saving grace. Hopefully, it'll put a few chavs off!
