Jacko....good point mate.....a lot of the people these days are credit junkies..everything is on credit..the car/house/clothes..even the food they eat! Fair enough lots of people manage, but it means that for a helluva long time they dont own the X5's/cayennes etc...

Id rather have less, and own it outright, than lots of things that Im indebted for...

Firstly wealth is comparative - loaded to you might not be loaded to me etc... Also without seeing someones entire financial situation how on earth do you know if someone is loaded? They could be up to their eyes in debt - material possessions might be a guide - but are no guarantee...
A friend of my dads is a pilot for BA who has invested wisely over the years and is worth plenty. Wears Matalan clothes and drives an E reg mini...

I see some amazing displays of wealth around here, some obnoxious, some not. The lady who runs the posh frock shop at the end of my road (one room, was a house) is in a new Bentley and what a beast that is, cars quite nice though.
