It's a rebadged Lexmark z615 but looking around on Google, it seems Mac users haven't been able to persuade it to work with that driver.

Some Red Hat guys have been able to download the binary Lexmark .rpm driver and then hack it using CUPS to work with the Dell but that won't help us as the driver is written in x86 not PowerPC (before we even get to the difference in driver models between Linux and OS X).

So it looks like Mac users are left out for the time being

Buy an Epson C46 for £29.99 (PC World) and pay £2 a set for replacement ink.
I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would buy a non Epson or Canon printer.

Too right I've got a R200 for general and DVD/CD printing, and your inks are by far the best and cheapest, and I have an R800 for my photos.

Oh and an A3 photo printer and an A3 laser at work

Did anyone else not see this in the small print:

"This printer ships with trial size cartridges"

Anyone got one yet and confirm what they are like? Not really worth shelling out for if it only prints 20 pages before running out.

Simon.

I got one of these printer free as part of a computer package and they are a rebadged lexmark.

Cartridges are just a couple of quid each and print quality on plain paper is quite good and in black only you get 13ppm.

the trial cartridges are half full, so you still get a fair few prints.

Says on the site 2 days to go.

I was wary at first due to ink costs but now I see its a rebadged lexmark it should be fine.
