It's where the young professionals hang out on a Saturday night, drinks could be classed as expensive if you're not used to paying the price - but the East End Edinburgh is generally expensive compared to other places. I haven't been in a while though - I'm not good with loud music and being crammed into a small space with lots of other people at the moment (it's a pregnancy thing). like wise richie no strippers for us either had a good laugh though just ended up in a pub called 3 sisters, had what we were after plenty of short skirts which was better on friday night. managed to stop 2 of the lads from fighting then get told to calm down by another lad when it was me doing the calming down the other 2, he was close to getting chinned other than that a great weekend. the ladys were quite friendly too, though i did get approched by a lass and could'nt understand a word she said, to say i got a ******* off the other lads is understatement

Stopped at the Jury's Inn, can't remember half the bars we went in, something like the Doric, Filling station, City Cafe and a loads more on Friday around the Grass Market area, some walking went on!
Saturday went karting through the day, then at night, for a curry and spent most of the night in Po Na Na, great fun (Also saw the highlights of the Toon game in the pub next door )
Had about 4 hours sleep and got the train back to Newcastle at 2pm with a bit of hair of the dog along the way

we stopped in the herald house hotel not bad, but had the hardest beds in the world
went paint balling on sat morning great way to cure a hangover, seemed to have faired quite well, very few bruses yea saw the toon game in a pub called the 2 bulls or something.
