off the line there is no contest, on the m'way though, at say 80 neck and neck with a 2.5D repmobile....?

owing to your lack of understanding of English grammar, I will elaborate for you.

The punctuation mark at the end is a question mark, that means it is a statement that requires quantifiaction, I dont know the answer, ergo I havent travelled at 80 mph on her majesties public highway to find out.

No, you mod it to ACCELERATE quickly to 70, not necessarily drive at high speeds.

as a youngster I did just that and have an endorsed license to that effect.
I have broken the speed limit, in a 1.7td astra.
I do not break the speed limit, in a scooby.

as for the corsa thing, why? my car is a company car given to me with fuel card and monthly top up for servicing/maintanence, to run two cars would cost me a fortune.

ok so its sensible driving to thrash the nuts off a car to 70 mph then slam on the brakes and cruise

I think your worthy of this new smiley

So the 300bhp is irrelevant as the top speed is hardly affected. Besides most rep-mobiles are capable of high speeds so what's the point of high power output if it's not acceleration?

Given that I DIDN'T say ANYTHING about sensible driving and used the term 'not necessarily' which maybe you're having trouble interpreting, I rather think you can keep your smiley

I refer you to my previous answer about taking a car to a track or similar to drive at law breaking speeds.

keep it off the roads, and, mores the point, as we are discussing 30mph limits, keep it out of town at least

Dont the police have walkie talkies? If there was a more serious crime in progress they would stop dealing with the empty headed chav and his flamer kit and go off to the 'more serious crime'...
At that moment in time they spotted a chav mobile deliberately floundering the law and pulled it over and well done to them... The chav wasted their time simple as!

I believe chavism is a lifestyle, not an indication of wealth so yes, I suspect chavs have access to RB5s amongst other cars.

what, no apology?

not even a retort?

I resent the comment and the fact you drew inference from another post to come to the conclusion, inference which has since been proven to be:
a) Above your intelect.
b) Wrong.

regardless of your grammar, i stick by the original comment of you were either lying OR you ARE one of those nightmare drivers that pisses everyone off. Either way i'm not bothered cos fortunately you don't live near me.#

And above my intelect.... doubt that
