I left home at 20 - nothing makes a man of a boy as much as having to fend for yourself without mummy there to help you.

I was out at 17.
Renting a room down sarf and a running a cheap old car on an gross annual wage of 5,500 in the late 80s didn't leave much room for saving up for a nice un, or even for eating much! Couldv'e done with some of those mummy meals up to the age of 20
