Yes it was under that famous bridge. Classic moment If he did that in a car park he'd be called a chav though

Marko Martin did a similar thing on one of last years gravel rallies.
He was 90 degrees across the road fully 75 yards before the apex of the corner, amazing.

Sadly, this clip won't bear me out but the original Channel 4 footage showed it quite clearly...honest guv.

The first part of that clip is a section of road they used to use on San Remo when the rally used to be part gravel and part tarmac.

i've seen Colin McRae go over there better. Plus the suspension is miles better now than when he went over it !!!

On the last bit Giggi got that spot on. When the wheels were locked on the back just before he powers it he was on the hand brake.

Group N cars do have hydraulic handbrakes so doing stuff like that is alot easier now than it used to be.

Fair play though the chap can drive the socks off anything. I don't know how he hasn't stared more before now since his recent showings.

Lets hope he gets more good results........

The last part is very good.

Theres a similar thing to that on the Colin Mcrae:The early years DVD. He's in a 3 door cossie and appears to lose it in a similar way, even the commentator at the event thinks that. Then he gathers it all up, slides it perfectly round the corner and f@cks off down the road. A class DVD, well recomended.
