To be fair your car is old with a Max Power exhaust and tints.....is that not a prime target for untaxed/uninsured???

That's just asking for them to give you grief.
I was stopped at 3.30 a.m. one very cold morning. They saw me pull out of work. Followed me for half a mile. Stopped me. Asked me where I had come from and where I was going etc.
I got a bit cocky, told them they knew where I came from, and it's obvious where I was going when I've just finished work. One hour later I was still standing in my T-shirt in front of the car rapidly developing hypothermia.
Lesson learned -say, yes officer, no officer, three bags full officer and you'll soon be on your way.
