First course - unoaked Chardonnay
Main course - any decent red will work, to be honest
Dessert - orange Muscat or Madeira

(oh, and serve the raspberry compote with the mousse, not the duck!)

They do, although most of them are proper vintages, such as the II, for which you can pay several hundred pounds per bottle depending on the year. A good place to see the range is the wine shop at Heathrow Terminal 4 - they had them all last time i was there.

Question

I was thinking of a light chardonay to start a siccilian red and a pink sparkling to finish.

If you like Rioja, the Muga estate is superior (IMO) to Faustino. Muga Reserva Especial in good years is fantastic (and less expensive than their Prado Enea). I had quite a few bottles from 1994 and 1995, which were the best Rioja vintages of the '90s. Available from Majestic, and if you buy during one of their spanish wine pomotions, not horrendously expensive.
