I think you'll find that it was Holly Hunter, as featured in Raising Arizona, Crash, etc, as opposed to Helen Hunt who appeared in As Good As It Gets, amongst others.

American Werewolf in London. Never released as an OST That is one DUMB record company that made that decision.
